The Stainless steel Super Chef Model EL- 14C, 6-KW electric counter fryer produces 34 lbs. of raw-to-finished potatoes hourly in just 18" of counter width with only 22 lbs. of cooking oil. The one-piece fry tank has a 60% larger frying area than provided on conventional fryers of 18" width, as the frying area is 14" square with 196 sq. in. of frying area. Large fry baskets fully utilize this greater area for higher production and more uniformly cooked foods. Many foods such as cutlets, chicken, fish, etc. are more dependent on frying area than heat input so Super Chef's EL-14C is truly more productive and versatile than any other fryer in the 18" width size class. Overall depth of 23" for easy installation in shallow 24" equipment stands or back counters.

Patented Control Box — The patented control box unit provides large area stainless steel rod element alongside the baskets, controlled by a thermostat with red neon indicator light. All wiring, element, thermostat, indicator light and power supply cord and plugs are contained in the enclosed control box unit. There is no wiring down in the cabinet. Control box unit is pivot mounted on the fryer, with latch to hold in raised position. May be removed from fryer by simply removing two screws — no need to call for licensed electrician for removal of parts that need replacement.

Easy Cleaning and Maintenance — Lift-out stainless steel tank never turns black as do plated steel tanks and is easily cleaned in your sink. Stainless element burns off carbon and shuts off automatically. Large expansion ring (17" square) at tank rim prevents foam-overs. Torsion bar element mounting - simple element replacement in minutes with only a screwdriver required.
